CDC COVID-19 Update for Rural Partners, Stakeholders, and Communities – April 22
A recording of the April 22 update, CDC’s third specifically for rural communities, is now available via CDC’s Health Departments COVID webpage (under “More Information”) and POLARIS website (“Health Topics – Rural Health”). HHS Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan provided introductory remarks and answered questions concerning rural response activities across the department. Dr. Jay Butler, Deputy Director for Infectious Diseases, CDC, shared guidance with partners, public health practitioners, healthcare providers, and others working to protect the health of rural communities. He described what CDC knows at this point and responded to questions.
