Save the date flyer for October 14-15 Virtual rural health conference

BOONE COUNTY — Scholarships are still available for qualifying southern West Virginia counties to utilize the resources available via the 2020 West Virginia Rural Health Conference, which will be in a virtual format this year due to COVID-19 concerns in relation to large social gatherings.

“Innovations in Meeting Rural Challenges” is the theme of the Oct. 14-15 virtual conference.

WVRHA Executive Director Debrin Jenkins spoke about the conference, the format for 2020 and who may qualify for the scholarships, which covers all related fees for the virtual experience.
