Sara Jane Gainor ca= lled the meeting to order at 10:10 am.

Roll Call

Elaine Bowen called= roll. There were nine members and two guests in attendance.

Minutes<= /span>

Elaine Bowen presen= ted the minutes of the 5-22-06 meeting for approval. Corrections were made. Minut= es were approved with corrections.

Treasurer’s R= eport

Sara Jane Gainor presented the Treasurer’s Report and Financial Report p= repared by Sharon Giles. The balance (“unofficial” as of 6-22-06) was $19,062.63.

Sara Jane reported = that Derrick Day has agreed to work on the web site. He will submit an invoice to Shar= on Giles and will work with the Communications Committee on the web site con= tent.

Report on Call with= Nancye Bazzle and Melissa Wheeler, OCHS

Update from Rural H= ealth Conference Committee

Sara Jane met previously with Nancye Bazz= le and Melissa Wheeler.

Nancye and/or Melissa will attend future = WVRHA Board meetings and get all minutes and reports.
For the 2007 WVRHA Conference, the confer= ence chair will also chair the planning meetings.

Nancye asked the Board to formally appoin= t a representative on the WVRHA Conference Planning Committee. This will= help clarify who represents the Board and Board points of view.

The next conference planning meeting is W= ednesday, June 28. However, since no Board representatives are available to at= tend, any comments or suggestions for the conference should be emailed to April Vestal and Sara Jane Gainor. April will call Dave Sotak to see= if he has any suggestions related to Policy Committee.

The issue of a sile= nt auction at the WV Rural Health Conference was discussed. Phil will bring = this up for discussion with the conference planning committee at their meeting Wednesday.
