ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
The West Virginia Rural Health Association is a non-profit, grassroots,
member-driven organization whose mission is to serve as an advocate
for preserving and improving the health care status of all rural
people through education and effective communication.
WVRHA's membership includes a variety of stakeholders interested
in the health of rural West Virginians. Each stakeholder brings
to the membership the unique and special concern they have for
rural West Virginia. Upon joining the WVRHA, stakeholders are
encouraged to maintain their individuality in governance, goals
and programs. Becoming a member of WVRHA will serve to broaden
the base of power and heighten the sphere of influence a single
stakeholder would normally have, thus increasing their effectiveness
to make a distinctive and deliberate impact. Working together,
members will make positive lasting changes in the selection and
delivery of healthcare goods and services to local rural communities
as well as influence statewide policies and programs.
